Sometimes the best thing to do when you need to write about yourself is to read things written by people who you wished you were. When you read these douments, you can agree upon liking things they have written about themselves, and then say those things about yourself in your document.
This works for a while, until eventually you need to differentiate yourself from these other writers or artists. At this point, the best thing to do is to interview yourself.

A: Thank you! It’s a good day for it.
Q: So Colin, in applying to the Princess Grace Foundation, they are asking you what your dreams and desires are for your work now and in the future. Does anything come to mind?
A: Well definately, yes! Just from sort of looking over my last statement of purpose, I really wanted to continue this personal/public journey that I have shared with my audiences. Staging myself for intimacy does some very powerful things.
Q: What do you mean?
A: I mean, I feel like when I as a performer can put myself out there on a stage and do something like take my shirt off or sing a song, it can set a good example for exposing yourself. Hopefully the audience will
